The University of Hong Kong - Department of Data and Systems Engineering

The Department, originally named as Department of Industrial Engineering was established in 1973. It was the first university department to offer degree programmes in Industrial Engineering in Hong Kong. The Department was officially renamed as Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) in 1989. Over the years, the Department has nurtured many industrial leaders with sounded technological background, management skills and knowledge integration ability. Our alumni are holding important positions in leading corporations in Hong Kong, China and overseas.
